Dan Bruggeman

Dan has more than 30 years of diverse financial operations and CFO experience. With expertise in private equity operations and as a sponsor at the fund level, he has delivered cost reduction, business development, value creation planning, and improvement in cash flow across manufacturing and distribution, both consumer and industrial, in sectors including aerospace, building products, food processing, glass manufacturing, chassis up-fitting, tier one automotive, and others. Dan has also helped deliver successful exits to sponsors and management teams.

Dan has worked with a variety of private equity firms at the portfolio/fund level including Cerberus, TransOcean Capital, Insight Equity, and Trive Capital. He has practical experience in finance, operations, information technology, administration, business development, and human resources. He has executed carve-outs, family business integrations, and interim management roles and provided leadership and coaching to executive teams to help deliver mutually developed value creation programs.

Prior to his time in private equity, Dan was a Vice President with Newell Rubbermaid. Prior to Newell, Dan worked in several middle-market manufacturing businesses.

Dan received a BS in accounting and finance from Minnesota State University. He is a CPA and a CMA certificate holder. Dan is also a 30-year instrument and multi-engine certified pilot with 3,000 hours of flight time.
