Karen has more than 30 years of experience helping a wide variety of companies profitably grow their revenue through strategic initiatives in marketing and sales. The breadth of her experience as both in-house executive and consultant across small, midsize and large companies, public and private, US and global, means she can quickly recognize the current state, the challenges and the opportunities in sales structure, sales on-boarding, pipeline reporting and management, value creation planning, and other sales & marketing functions in a PE acquisition setting.
Immediately before joining QSA, Karen consulted on sales quality and growth and led sales initiatives for a variety of companies including TricorBraun, Catalina Marketing, and Skillsoft. From 2007 through 2020, she was a Principal with Blue Ridge Partners, a boutique management consulting firm focused on helping middle-market companies grow their top-line revenue. She helped dozens of clients, primarily portfolio companies of private equity firms ranging in size from $200M to $2B in revenue, on a variety of salesforce effectiveness and marketing effectiveness issues. She also led professional development for the firm.
Prior to Blue Ridge Partners, Karen led partnership initiatives for two technology startups and was Senior Manager at Accenture in the Technology Competency Group, where she consulted on business transformation projects.
Karen received a B.S. in electrical engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
