Paul Swaney

Paul has led transformation and restructuring initiatives at a wide variety of midsize and large companies and has 20 years of experience across manufacturing, supply chain management, e-commerce distribution, and overall operational excellence.

Prior to joining QSA, Paul was a Managing Director at Partners Group, a $130 billion multi-asset-class private equity firm, where he led the Private Equity Directs, Goods and Products – Americas’ team. He sat on multiple global firm investment committees and the board of directors for industrial assets. Prior to taking a leadership role on the Private Equity Directs team, Paul supported the Private Debt team with a focus on distressed asset evaluation and recovery.

Before turning to private equity operations, Paul was a strategy and operations consultant at McKinsey & Company. He also held operating leadership roles at Total SA (now TotalEnergies), Amazon.com, and ConocoPhillips.

Paul began his career in the US Navy Submarine Force. He is the author of Cultural Kaizen: The story of how simple concepts can transform an organization’s culture, engagement and bottom line.

Paul holds a bachelor’s degree from Thomas Edison State University.
